Raleigh is taking inventory and making plans for the future of the city from branding, partnerships, and funding.

How can Raleigh establish an identity as a edgy place with a culture that attracts entrepreneurs?

Ideas are being accepted. Now is the time to make your voices heard either through Twitter using the hashtag #innovateRal or through the Innovation Summit website…

But to really make things happen we need to step out of everyday cliques, collaborate with new ideas, and take risks to implement.

In reply to - Vincent Burks | Fashion NC These last few months kind of remind me of how we perceive life – we are so worried about how out of place the weather is for the time of year, that we don’t take the time to enjoy it when it comes around. 2012 The beginning of The [...] · View

    C. Grace for New Years Eve…

    C. Grace is a chic new spot on Glenwood South (at the previous Trim & Ivy location).

If you haven’t checked this place out yet, you owe it to yourself to do so.

Perhaps it’s my personal affinity towards the 1920s – 1940s era and the attention to details, but this place is quickly becoming one of my fav spots.

Transport away from the hubbub of Gwood, and enter a prohibition era speakeasy where you can be chic or an unkempt regular and get to know your neighbors.

They will be open for New Years Eve.

”Doors will be open to the public with a special punch and sparkling wine cocktail list to help you ring in the new year. Cheers!” – C. Grace

Got a chance to catch the presentation about Social Impact Investment with author Antony Bugg-Levine at the Duke Fuqua Business school. Great talk about investing for social change and the paradigm changes required to make this a viable new way of doing business.
